To do the Overflow glitch, you must have at least 2,200,000 AP on Barret's ultimate weapon, Missing Score. That causes the damage counter to overflow and Barret deal negative damage, causing instant death to most enemies, including the infamous Emerald WEAPON.
Missing Score:
Knights of Round MASTER (500,000 AP)
Knights of Round MASTER (500,000 AP)
W-Summon MASTER (250,000 AP)
W-Magic MASTER (250,000 AP)
W-Magic MASTER (250,000 AP)
W-Item MASTER (250,000 AP)
Bahamut ZERO MASTER (250,000 AP)
Steal as Well MASTER (200,000 AP)

Total: 2,450,000 AP
Barret's Strength, Vitality, Dexterity and Luck are 255.
Also remember to use 4 Hero Drinks.
Mastering all those Materias takes a while, but it is definitely worth it. Killing Emerald WEAPON has NEVER been easier!
