FFVII - Ruby WEAPON Strategy: No Summon, No Limit Breaks
122Things to remember:
- The more AP you have on the Materias linked to Barret's Weapon, the less Hero Drinks you'll have to use on Barret. I had 2,450,000 AP.
- 2 Charaters must be dead when entering the battle. Otherwise Ruby will get rid of 2 random characters.
- The effect of Dazers lasts for 4-5 turns if your Dexterity aka Speed is high. My characters have 255 Dexterity.
- The tentacles cannot attack you if Ruby is paralyzed.
- Ribbons must be equipped, since the tentacles inflict very annoying status effects.
- You'll want to avoid getting Limit Breaks, since they deal 2-3k dmg per hit. 4x-Cut deals much more damage.
- Cloud and Yuffie need 4-5 Hero Drinks even if their strength is maxed out. My characters have 255 Strength.
- If one of your characters gets killed, use Dazers and Phoenix respectively.
