Here's one I had to skip when I did this challenge one and a half year ago. With normal stats, this battle is impossible without materia, but it's a different story with max defense. However, it's Carry Armor, and there will never be a good challenge battle against him. So yeah, this one is luck reliant. In fact, it's a pretty cheap and dumb battle, and I only did it for completion.

Same old story. Touch the arms once in the beginning of the battle to reduce the chance of Arm Grab to 1/128, then pray he doesn't use Lapis Laser. With 255 Spirit, Tifa can survive it with Sadness and MBarrier, but she'll be left with only a few HP and an additional physical attack will kill her. After a couple Hero Drinks, however, she can easily survive it, so you don't have to pray for that many turns. He's only got a 1/4 chance of using it every turn when his HP is full anyway.

Once four Hero Drinks have been used, you only have to pray you don't get grabbed, which happened to me once this time. At least you don't have to worry about his damage dealing attacks any more, because... well, see for yourself.
