I needed a break from Crash 4 time trials, so I decided to start this challenge. I'll probably get back to time trials in a couple of weeks.

Materia Only means I can only ever use materia to do anything, whether it's attacking, healing or support. Regular attacks, limit breaks and items are prohibited. I can use the Change and Defend commands, but that's it. With the Initial Equipment and No Accessories rules, I'll have a very limited number of materia slots, so I'll have to choose my materia wisely. I will also have limited MP in a lot of battles, since I can only replenish it with Magic Hammer. Needless to say, the Enemy Skill Materia will be the savior of this challenge.

As for this battle, it's simple. Just spam Bolt until he dies. You have more than enough MP left after the first battle at the train station. Just don't attack when... you know.

Btw, I never really bothered with custom thumbnails, but decided to give it a go this time. It only took me five minutes and it's nothing fancy, but how do you think it looks? I also wonder if you'll recognize all the names.
