This is a variation of a challenge Blitz_Ace470 on the gamefaqs board started. The idea is to not only remove items and overdrives, which are fairly common ANO restrictions, but also equipment abilities with NC and IE. In an attempt to prevent this from becoming a Spare Change spam-fest I decided to allow all characters to learn all abilities i.e. no OSG restriction. I'm also playing on the Expert Sphere Grid.
Klikk is nothing special but without items or overdrives (apart from the Grenade the game forces you to use) you can certainly lose. To improve the odds I had Tidus Defend to reduce damage taken before Rikku arrives. The cutscene is triggered by Klikk taking 750 damage, so six non-critical hits, which you can use to your advantage.
ANO = Ability Nodes Only (no activating stat spheres)
NS = No Summon
NC = No Customize
NI = No Items
NO = No Overdrives
IE = Initial Equipment
NSC = No Spare Change
NE = No Escape (or Flee)
NBB = No Blitzball
