And with this, the challenge is complete. Let me tell you, I probably fail Wakka's Attack Reels once every 15 times, but when I needed it the most I failed it. Epic failure. Luckily Rikku had a turn after and saved the day.

This fight is much more complicated than it seems. The timing has to be perfect. After getting haste on Tidus and Rikku and Trio of 9999 on the needed characters, the first form can be taken care of. However, an Aeon has to take the blow, because the sweep attack from the sword will kill the party. Then it's luck from there, because sometimes he will use the sweeping attack twice.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

This challenge was definitely fun, and I am very glad that I finished it. However, there are a few things that I overlooked when I decided to do this challenge.
For one, there was A LOT less farming than I thought there would be. I farmed for two things, iceproof armor and a chocobo wing. That's it. Everything else I found on my way, and I picked up WAYYY more than I ever needed.

The other thing is, with the NSG challenge, nearly every fight is under 2 minutes long. Every fight has to be all offense, because if you don't kill the enemy quickly, it will kill you. So basically, there's preparation, and then a 30 second fight. You can see how that can be pretty boring. The challenge was still entertaining to finish, but I would much rather have a longer drawn out fight with a lot of planning and strategy than a 2 overdrive kill every time.

The next challenge I do, whatever it'll be, I will make sure that it won't come with an all offensive strategy. I want a challenge I can use all the parts of the game effectively, not just seeing how fast I can kill stuff.

NSG stands for No Sphere Grid. In this challenge I will be running through Final Fantasy X with one simple rule: Never touch the sphere grid. This ultimately means no skills or magic past what characters start with will be learned, and no stats will ever be increased (basically like being on level 1 the entire game). There are no exceptions in this challenge, the sphere grid must never be used.
