Was pondering about this effect for awhile, so I decided to test it out to see what would happen.

It looks very similar to the existing Guadosalam skip. Pressing Square to see a Blitzball Player's stats, and then letting an NPC move you into a cutscene trigger, the Blue Box will stay on screen. At this point in the story, I have not yet entered the Guado Palace. I opted to see if I could get to Thunder Plains early. At first it refused me, but when cancelling the box, I had the indicative "slide" Tidus gets when he has free movement during a moment he shouldn't. Somehow, this silenced the Guado Guard, and I could get through. Returning back to Guadosalam, the normal guard behaviour returned.
