Ffxi Epic Battles: Conquering The Caturaes And Persevering Through Defeat!
2Hello everyone! We are back with our Caturae grind here to work on finishing the abyssea stuff to be able to see the light triggers. We take down all the Caturaes, starting with the most dangerous Caturae itself "Rani", the one and only who drops both Hecates earring AND Epona's ring! 2 very sought after items!
When we went to Abyssea Grauberg we met something that was more dangerous than any of the Caturaes, and that thing is "Assailer Chariot". It has a move that can deal up to 10k per party member!!! Which I don't think even brewing it you'd be able to tank lol, which is scary.
But after a few setbacks we managed to take it down and then a few more times to get the KI we needed! Glad I got this done because I don't like fighting that thing, almost got wiped from a homing missile in Abyssea Altepa too XD.
I will also plan to take Rani down more times in attempt to farm up that Epona's ring, but first I want to be able to see what procs I need for blue, as blue drastically increases the chance to get it as a drop!
Next episode we will take down some of the Rise of the Zilart, because we need access to Tu'lia areas to enter Halls of the Gods, was hoping I didn't need it but alas it must be done in the end anyway!
