FFXII - 122333 part 24 - Hell Wyrm No Escape (Part 1)

So everyone can understand what I did. :)
This is it, after doing a no escape on my normal game I tried doing this on a low level and it can be done. :D This is composed of 7 parts. I didn't want to show you the whole battle cause it took me 3 1/2 hours to beat it. And my strategy might even bore you a bit. XD This was done before Giruvegan.
Equipment used:
Fomalhaut with Wyrmfire shots: This is the only damaging weapon XD
Rubbersuit: Immune to Thunder magic
Maximillian: Best +Defense at this time
Shell Shield: Used to minimize magic damage
Crown of Laurrels/Gigas Hat: Best +Mag Def at this time
Sage Ring: Absorbs Holy magic (Judgement)
Bone Helm/Armor: Half damage to Darkga
Viking Suit: Immune to Waterga
Windbreaker: Half damage to Aeroga
Adamant Hat/Fire Shield: Half damage to Firaga
Ice Shield: Half damage to Blizzaga
Cat-Ear Hood: To speed action commands.
Bubble Belt: Doubles HP.
Lots of equipment huh? lol I know I don't have Black Masks. I was lazy to chain Banchees to get 3 of them. haha! But having Bone Helm/Armor still helped a bit. :)
Important Items/Commands:
Reverse
Phoenix Downs
Raise
Chronos Tears
Revive
X-potions
Ethers
Having 99 of each item are needed (except chronos tears). You'll know how much I used up on the final part. :)
Fight Strategy:
Hell Wyrm has attack phases. And before each one, he uses an attack called Judgement. So you'll know he's changing a phase. Ok, each phase has a different strategy. First few phases have the same fight pattern. On this part, he mostly uses RAKE, and having Maximillian will help you reduce his attack. Or atleast be able to drink an X-Potion or cast Reverse. :D Not equiping a helm is the key to make Reverse connect everytime you cast it. Cause with high Mag Def (wearing a Helm), Reverse misses with a low magic power. So by unequiping a helm, mag def goes down to 1 while your magic power is 20+. More chances Reverse will connect, get it? :D Then I used the equip/unequip trick in this one. It's where you change equipment after an action performed. So you could do another action right after an action. More like, NO DELAY TIME. :) It's the only way to survive, so I'm sorry if yo see me change equipments all the time. :\ Anyway, I used 2 berserked characters while in critical. This way, they ALWAYS deal 9999 damage. Even if Hell Wyrm gets down to half life (remember the 6999 cap at that point?). Another character (party leader), will act as a decoy and raises dead members and try to keep Hell Wyrm away from the critical members. Lastly, 3 members will act as a reviver/Stop curer of the party leader.
My Team:
I solely used Ashe as my decoy & healer. She's the team leader. When she dies, everyone is out to rescue her. She uses x-potions and raise magic (to save some phoenix downs).
Penelo, Balthier and Fran are my Revive/Chronos Tears team. Revive is used on Ashe when she dies. This saves me Phoenix down so I could use that on my Revive team. I love this move after using it in my ECC. :D The team also cure Stop after Judgement.
Vaan and Basch are my Attack team. They are in critical and recasts berserk when needed.
Ok, enough talk, let's get down to the video. :) I fought this as soon as I got out of bed. lol So I had early mistakes like, Ashe using a Handkerchief on herself with nihopalaoa and Penelo staying out too long, giving Hell Wyrm a chance to target her. :( But later on I got the hang of it. :)
