FFXII HD - Finding the Wood Toad (Rare Game)
72One of the more annoying ones to find, and since I couldn't find any visual guides for the game, I decided to share my experience to help people out.
The Wood Toad has a 20% chance to spawn in the Salikawood - The Corridor of Ages. It'll spawn right around the staircase next to the northern exit, and have Vanish cast on itself. So there's very little visual evidence that it's there. The key is to listen for it's sloshing footsteps to tell if it's nearby (also having headphones, or Stereo audio helps tremendously). Then you can lure it out of hiding by bouncing a spell off a party member with Reflect active, or by luring another enemy near it. You can also make out the silhouette of the Wood Toad as a visual, but lower def tvs might make this challenging. Hope this helps.
