Sorry about the quality, but I just couldn't wait for the converter to capture this. :D

I saw a couple of videos about beating Hell Wyrm without escaping. And they had good equipment on, with characters around lvl 70-90. I thought to myself, what if I could beat it with levels a bit lower than them?

This was before Giruvegan. No Excalibur, Tournesol, equipment to absorb Hell Wyrm's attacks: black mask, white mask, rubbersuit, best armor (Maximillian, Megepower Shishak, etc) best magicks (hastega, holy, flare, protectga) My team were Ashe, Basch and Balthier lvl 50,48 & 48 respectively. Weapons used were Zodiac Spear and 2 Fomalhauts with wyrmfire shots. All 3 wore Platinum Helm, Carabineer Mail and Bubble Belts. Battle speed was set to FASTEST. It took me an hour to beat him & I NEVER left the arena. :D

At the start of the fight, I let Balthier cast dispel and Ashe throw a Handkerchief (she was wearing a Nihopalaoa at that time) at Hell Wyrm to easily cast oil. Then immediately changed her accessory into a Bubble belt. Basch did all the damage and hit it 9999 everytime til the battle was half way through in which he did 6999. Basch also used Bacchus's Wine to keep berserk status on. Balthier recasts Reverse and Decoy everytime it ran out and Ashe supporting the 2, most especially Basch. By healing, casting haste and bravery while he was in berserk status to keep him in top fighting action. :)

BTW, this video is just a highlight of the battle. I was thinking of posting the whole battle by parts. What do you think? Maybe if I get that converter, I could capture it again for better quality.
