In todays Final Fantasy XIV guide we are taking a look at the recently updated portrait system which came about in patch 6.2! Unlike the adventurer plate, the portrait system is primarily used for PVP Instant portraits in crystalline conflict. However, this is said to be implemented on other forms of content such as dungeons in the future.

Instant Portraits are tied to individual gear sets and require a few extra steps in order to get them properly sync'd up for use! As it's not as clearly explained within FFXIV how one goes about doing that; I hope this guide helps to clear up any confusion!
