Before you start this dps push you want to remove food and have HQ super potions that you can heal with, I typically remove food before the boss so I don't forget to do it in the middle.

The wordy explanation below can make this seem difficult, but I'm mostly just trying to answer frequent questions, if you have any more questions feel free to ask in the comments.

DPS Part:

After you get the boss to about 22% you want to wait until it does the South Trounce (where there is no exit) and then it will cast Charbydis twice, then cast Thunderbolt, and then cast Charybdis. Save your sustaining potion until it auto attacks you after the Thunderbolt and then pop it and pop tactician.

After the second auto attack you want to start running away to avoid the Charybdis, be sure to move a good distance away like in the video so you don't get caught by the tornados AOE which is larger than the initial cast AOE.

After that you pop Lust and start building up vulnerability stacks, be sure to avoid the Trounce AOE by moving close to where the boss will cast it. Then bring the boss to about 15.1% / 15.2%, if you get 15.1% that's cool but I wouldn't personally push further if you get it to 15.2%.

To see the exact health decimals in the chat like I do, make a macro and put this in it, replace the angled brackets here with the actual greater than and less than symbols since youtube doesn't let you put those in the description.

If you focus target the boss you don't have to target it either and can use this.

After the next South Trounce, the boss will once again use Charybdis twice, wait until he starts the cast for the second one, then DPS. Use Reassemble Drill, make sure to set up your Rook. Chain your on GCD abiltiies like Drill, Heat Blast, Slug Shot, etc, with your off GCDs like Gauss round and Ricochet. As long as you do the healing part correctly the timing can be very lenient with your dps rotation and it's not necessary to be perfect.

Healing Part:

Make sure not to use your potion or second wind before you start your DPS push otherwise you will die.

You want to have your sustain potion up to be used for ecliptic meteor and still be full health before you take the first bit of damage. To do this you want to pop your sustain potion and tactician right before Lust, then immediately after you apply 5 stacks, use your sustaining potion again to get health back.

The idea here is basically to chain your sustain potion (which you should be used to by now) by popping it basically off cooldown. This timing will make it so you can pop the sustain potion after the Trounce at 1:00 so you can heal from the auto attack damage and have full health before the first meteor.

About halfway through the first ecliptic meteor cast time you want to pop your sustain potion, this will be the only one you need to pop throughout the entire rotation, after that just focus on using Second Wind and your HQ Super Potion after you take damage.

Don't stand close to the boss or it can autoattack you while it isn't using ecliptic meteor.

Now for boring math and explanation.

This video doesn't work for trial characters who need to use max potions.

This strategy is essentially equivalent to clicking off food and using max potions, whereas our strategy doesn't have food for the entire rotation and uses HQ super potions.

HQ super potions heal about 377 more than max potions when you have food turned off.

Clicking off food after taking a meteor sets you at 22% of your health instead of the 20% you would normally be at from the 80% damage, 1.1 * 0.2 = 0.22 ie 22% health remaining.

2% of your health is about 370 health, so you actually heal a little more with this strategy than you would on a trial character using max potions and clicking off food.
