In today's video, Jack discusses MMOs and the use of addons by their player communities Specifically, he discusses FFXIV banning streamers for using addons. This is a follow up to Spy's video from last week.

It’s only been a short time since Final Fantasy XIV’s Naoki Yoshida asked the community, again, to avoid using third-party tools. Stating that they are against the game’s terms of service and not technically allowed. Now, this policy has resulted in a couple of streamers, from both the Japanese and English-speaking fanbases, being banned because they were displaying prohibited tools while playing the game.

**About SpyPie**

At SpyPie Gaming, we respect video games and what they offer. Especially when it comes to one of our favorite games - The Elder Scrolls Online.

We produce content that: highlights changes to the game, educates new and seasoned players on a variety of aspects, and strives to entertain as well. We also produce broader content relating to the gaming industry as a whole such as overviews of games both out and soon to release, news, and coverage of events in the gaming community.

We're currently a team of two highly dedicated contributors who simply want to share experiences and engage with other players.

That being said, we consider ourselves professionals. So, expect a touch of professionalism in everything we put out. If not, speak up. We believe in the concept of continuous improvement. Which leads to another thing you’ll find here: diverse perspectives. We believe tolerance of differing views is essential to community—and that's what we're here to achieve after all.
