FFXIV To catch a Predator (not a parody)
32Here is a great way to catch the Predator Fish for the Ageflow Aethersands. The spot is right outside the Ondo Cups in Tempest. Fish with short bill minow until you catch a Stormfish, surface slap it away, use patience 2 and a cordial right after, then begin fishing. You can switch bait to squid strips to make it easier or continue using short bill. Ignore all light tugs, the only 2 medium fish here are the stormfish and predators and since we have surface slapped the stormfish the only medium tugs will be the predator. After you catch one make sure to use identical catch for one more. Make sure to have snagging off as it will add 2 other possible fish. While waiting for GP to reload have snagging on as this is a good way to catch sweetfish oysters for the dps food.
