FIFA 22 INFORM NAVAS REVIEW | 89 INFORM KEYLOR NAVAS PLAYER REVIEW | FIFA 22 ULTIMATE TEAM
FIFA 22 89 IF Keylor Navas player review. Thanks for watching and below is a more detailed review of the card, please leave any suggestions for reviews you would like to see in the comment section.
Diving/height – Although I consider his height to be a weakness, in that some of the goals I conceded I feel a taller keeper might have saved, his diving ability actually prevents it from being a major issue with the card. He almost springs himself into the diving animations which allows him to cover all areas of the goal really well. Navas can get down to make a save quickly or jump towards the corners of the net to try and stop the ball going in. He is capable of making both one- and two-handed saves from all distances plus he is very good at using his body to block shots when he is rushing out at the attacker.
Reflexes – I think this is probably the most impressive aspect of the card. Although I have used a couple of goalkeepers now with 90 reflexes who all performed really well in close to goal situations, I think Navas made the most amount of saves when it came to stopping shots inside the box. I also played these games after the patch release so goalkeepers should technically be worse at saving shots inside the box, however this card still impressed me. He snaps into the diving animations so quickly and in 1 on 1 situations he came out with the save more often than not.
Handling – Although I haven’t mentioned it as a positive of the card, his handling was still decent in my opinion. Navas gets a lot of diving animations that allow him to physically catch the ball in the air, I would say even more than some keepers with a higher handling stat than this card too. He also doesn’t punch the ball away from crosses and corners which is a good thing. The only thing that lets him down is that sometimes he pushed away shots that were aimed straight at him which could potentially lead to rebound opportunities for your opponent.
Speed – His speed was good enough for the most part. I had some moments where he would rush out and make game winning saves taking the ball away from the attacker’s feet, but on a couple of occasions his speed let me down. Maybe I was expecting too much from him in those situations, I would say it is a positive of the card overall.
Distribution – His kicking ability was okay, not great but not terrible either. It’ll get the job done and he can hit it just about into your opponent’s half but sometimes it lacked accuracy. I didn’t get chance to take any kicks off the ground in open play with him but I can see it being average. His throwing on the other hand was great thanks to his long throw trait. I managed to start up a few successful counter attacks by just throwing the ball out to the halfway line after catching a corner.
Positioning – The final positive is Navas’ positioning which again was great overall. This is part of the reason, along with his diving, why his height didn’t impact him too much in game. When it came to players attacking on goal, he always seemed to be in the right position to give himself the best chance at being able to save the shot. One weakness that I guess could be tied into his positioning is the fact he has the comes for crosses trait. I really don’t like this trait on goalkeepers and I would recommend that you change Navas’ goalkeeper instructions to come for crosses.
