5e seems to continue the D&D tradition started in 3rd edition dungeons and dragons with fighters being the undisputed master of the feat. The fighter in this edition of dungeons and dragons is the total warrior. Whether you want to sling spells with the eldritch knight, be a master tactician as battle master, or be an invincible juggernaut with the champion the fighter has you covered. Of all the character classes in a RPG the fighter has always been lack luster and for beginners, not in 5th edition. I see endless possibilities for character creation with the fighter. Of all the classes in the players handbook none get as many ability stat bonuses as the fighter with the rogue coming in second. Remember to tell us what you think about fighters in the comments.
