I was reminded of this not too long ago, and I wanted to give it a shot.

A not very well-known fighter, Fighter's History was developed by Data East in '94. It was the subject of controversy, as Capcom sued Data East for Fighter's History being very similar to that of Street Fighter. Capcom lost the lawsuit, and...the rest is, as they say, history.

I was introduced to this not too long ago, from a video on YouTube. It caught my interest fairly well. The character I'm using for this run is Ryoko, a young Judo fighter with a tough exterior. She may be doing her best Ryu cosplay here, but she doesn't specialize in Hadoukens or Dragon Punches at all. Instead, she's got powerful and stylish throws that could make even Zangief blush in embarrassment.

Now, a few things before I get in-depth. A) I totally suck at fighting games, so please bear with me if I seem...inexperienced. B) Most of Ryoko's moves are half-circle D-pad moves, which are very hard to pull off on a keyboard. In essence, I can only pull off two of Ryoko's special moves. Fortunately, one of them is a rather potent move.

Now then, onto the fights:

Marstorius: This giant brute offers quite the resistance and has a suplex to match. He and Ryoko square off in a war of attrition for the first two rounds. On Round 3, Ryoko gets the upper hand by pinning the lug into submission and finishing off from there.
(I accidently hit the fast forward button once during the fight. Oops.)

Samchay: A kickboxer with a Sagat-like move-pool, he also proves to be quite a foe. Ryoko gets dizzy in Round 2 and doesn't do so well there. The two fight some more and Ryoko almost gets dizzy again, but another submission shuts out Samchay.

Ryoko Double: The double can show you what Ryoko is really capable of pulling off, making me envious. The double tosses Ryoko about in epic fashion, but Ryoko perseveres very well.
