Resistance against Japanese occupation had the potential to bring traditionally oppositional political forces together—Nationalists and Communists in China and the OSS and Vietnamese anti-colonial activists—though it could not completely heal these rifts. This session explores the dynamics of these various relationships of opposing forces.
