Fighting Game Project: 2 v 2 Mechanic Test
Another day, another test video. This video shows the 2 versus 2 system/mechanic I have planned for the fighting game project. Using pre-exisitng characters DragonClaw & Eliza, who both needed ro be recoded entirely for this to work, I wanted to show what you can expect to do with the 2 v 2 system.
Things to Note:
- DHCs: Delayed Hyper Combos will be possible in this system. Similar to the Marvel vs Capcon series, you can perform one Super into your partner's Super for more damage.
- Tag Outs: Of course like any team battle game, you have the ability to swap between both of your characters at any given time. However I wanted to put a spin on it by not only to DHCs or raw tag outs. In this system, I wanted to allow to players to swap characters DURING the combo and extend their combo/damage output.
- Assists: Self-explanatory but you will be able to call in your partner to perform an attack as you fight.
