If you run and stop with good timing, you can catch the thrown enemy again for more damage. This is easier on light and bouncy enemies, so probably not on bosses. Overkilling enemies with Norris' Izuna or Guillotine throw gives you aton of extra points as you can see here. You can overkill bosses like this to milk for points after the kill!
