Figment Journey Into the Mind
0We enjoyed the Pixar film Inside Out immensely, but we had a nagging sense that its depiction of the mind was far too regimented. Memories were meticulously arranged on shelves, and islands, resembling theme parks, gathered thoughts into neat bundles. Our mind could never be that organized.
Journey Into the Mind: Figment is accurate. It's full of commotion and distractions, for one, with music pootling and farting out of every flower or building that you pass. This is how we perceive it in our minds. In addition, the islands in Figment: Journey Into the Mind are essentially a collection of discarded thoughts and memories. It appears to be a world that might exist, but a closer inspection reveals discarded road signs, musical instrument parts, and the occasional book.
