0Can you make amends for crimes so heinous that you have irreparably and cruelly harmed another person? Repentant, a point-and-click adventure developed by the Ukrainian studio Anate Studio, has this as a recurring (and not particularly cheery) theme.
There is a temptation to find a connection between the themes of Repentant and its Ukrainian origin. It is not difficult to envision how the dichotomy between abuser and victim, which Repentant likes to investigate, could apply to current events. We are unable to determine whether the action was deliberate or unintentional.
