Figure Skating and Me: Just Having Fun on the Ice
1Amazing memories this year. I think the best part about figure skating is the athleticism. Many of these things, I could not do nor attempt earlier in the year; but now I can. Thanks to my friend Danielle for awesome videography this day :D This was not planned but it looks professional huh!?
Camel spin into sit spin is extremely difficult. Now, however, I have the strength to get at least get some depth in the spin and grab my leg. Hopefully next year, I can go all the way down into sit and back up.
Figure Skating is for everyone. Your sex, size, age, and race does not matter. Do NOT let anyone tell you this. All you need, is a good pair of skates and a great coach with a couple of lessons. You don't have to go all the way to the Olympics. Simply gliding on the ice, is enjoyable enough. Trust me. You will love it too.
