This is an arrangement of Keita Hoshi's final boss battle theme from Hudson's Neutopia II for the TurboGrafx-16. It has been arranged for native playback on SNES hardware, and the audio was recorded directly from a launch-model SNES deck.

After doing a few covers of Mega Man X music, I wanted to dig a bit further into SNES rock but with something a bit more obscure. I'm pretty sure the Neutopia games qualify as obscure, and their music is amazing. The Turbo was good for that, though. No matter what the game was, Hudson's musicians went hard, and this is a perfect example. Who would've ever expected compositions like this from a system with six channels of PSG synth?
