The classic yet humble beginning to one of the most prolific RPG franchises in history. Final Fantasy is a simple, barebones RPG that is equally generic, fun, and challenging. This is a game that paved the way for some of the GREATEST RPGs in history. Games like Final Fantasy 6, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 9, and even RPGs not part of the FF series have benefited greatly from this early RPG blueprint, in everything from gameplay to graphical style. While being simple, it's still very much a good play and will draw you in if you let it.
