This is my personal review of the infamous title, Final Fantasy 13. Now why am I doing a review for this game after its release in 2010? The answer is pretty simple. I just beat the game. If you saw my "backlog video" back in 2011 then you would of saw that Final Fantasy 13 was one of the games in my backlog. I got this game in 2010 but then several games that came out kind of pushed this game into backlog status. But after playing FF13 a bit at a time throughout the years, I have finally beat the game and would now want to share my overall opinion on the game.

Final Fantasy 13 is a rpg with an ATB system. Final Fantasy 13 took me around 45 hours to complete the game. There is also post game content for you to do in terms of side quests in "Grand Pulse".

Summary:

Final Fantasy 13 is a very flawed game. The game has fantastic visuals, a great soundtrack, good character dynamic, and a somewhat fun combat system, but there are a good amount of flaws that really pulls it down such as combat lacking any sort of tension because of the retry option being available in every encounter, the upgrading system being flawed due to all the weapons you collect having nearly the same stats that you won't really have any idea which weapon to upgrade, convoluted story and there is a few small issues that make it a bit annoying such as if the main character you control dies, you get a game over. But even though with the issues, I still somewhat enjoyed my time playing through the game and it's not the worst rpg I've played this gen. But it is probably the worst final fantasy title that I've played but then again, that might not count for much since I have only beat a few FFs.
