this is my personal review of Fire Emblem: path of radiance. As I was playing through Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy Wars( I'm on my first playthrough by the way so I'm not sure where the game would rank within the other games), I thought it would be fun to review a fire emblem game since I'm such a huge fan of the franchise. So I decided to review my second favorite game in the series, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. Why I decided to pick FE: POR is because I kind of talked about FE: BS on my top 10 favorite game of all time video so yeah. Fire emblem: Path of Radiance is also probably my favorite game on the gamecube.

Fire Emblem: path of radiance is a grid-based strategy rpg. It took me around 45-50 hours to complete the game.(though not sure, just going from memory)

Pros:
Fantastic srpg battle mechanics( with both old GBA FE mechanics and new mechanics such as the skill system)
Good Story
improved conversation system
difficulty ideal for new comers

Laguz can be a bit of a pain to control


Summary:

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a great fire Emblem game. It mixes the old GBA FE mechanics and new mechanics very well, it has well designed maps, got good charactes and story, and improved on several of the old GBA FE mechanics such as the support convo system. There are stuff that I didn't like about it such as the biorhythm system but I have to say that It's a fantastic game. And even though I thought Fire emblem: path of radiance is an easy fire emblem game, I have to say that the difficulty is ideal for new comers to the series.
