You heard it here first, final fantasy 16 has hidden loading screens. I disliked them in ff7 remake and I wont like them in final fantasy 16. The final fantasy 16 twitter page dropped some gameplay introducing clive's partner torgal. During the clip we are met with a loading screen, or rather a forced slowdown before getting to the next area. I will say the slow down didnt seem as bad as ff7 remake. What I do find strange is that yoshida and team stated that final fantasy 16 wouldnt have loading screens. To specify he stated that jumping from story cutscenes into real-time battles and back are seamless. Many took him saying this also meant loading screens would be nonexistent. Most notable final fantasy 7 remake did this and did they do it alot. While this isnt the worst thing ever, It does start to bring up the quest of if this game needed to be ps5 only or could they have put it on ps4.
