This is a playthrough where I runaway from all random encounters, except for Deathgaze because he doesn't come back after you kill him. (I really need Palom to learn Dualcast anyway) I don't kill the Baron soldiers because they will regenerate when you leave. There's one Small Tail that is blocked by a Baron soldier so I can't get a third tail item. None of the save data from other tales was carried over. This is to ensure everyone starts off with fixed levels. This also means I can't use any of the tale characters like Leonora, Ursula and the Eblan ninjas. Speed 1/Active setting.

It's possible to beat the game with a male only team, while not killing random enemies because of Ceodore and the Recovery Rod. He's a male character with cure 3, float and shell. He has less HP than Cecil and won't survive Megaflare, but his White Magic and higher MP is more helpful for the team. Golbez is going to be killed in order for Palom, Ceodore, Edge and Kain to level up faster. Golbez doesn't really need level ups to beat the final boss, because his HP is already big. This will leave him with low intellect and speed. The Golden Apple was given to Palom.
