Barret basically hates everything Shinra. You will have a choice to go up; one is to use the stairs and another one is to use the elevator. You can choose any as it does not have major impact in the story. Using the stairs will obviously be longer but there will be a lot of chit chat between Barret, Tifa and Cloud. Using the Elevator will play some short cutscenes and some easy battles. A cutscene with Scarlet and her materia experiment will then play at the end.

EKG Cannon is a Gun-arm Weapon in Final Fantasy VII Remake. EKG Cannon provides the Point Blank ability, 34 Attack, 65 Magic Attack and has 4 Materia Slots. Gun-arms are artillery weapons that can only be used by Barret Wallace. These weapons are capable of long-range attacks and can continuously inflict damage against enemies that are out of reach.

Tifa Lockhart, alternatively known with the last name Lockheart, is a playable character in Final Fantasy VII, and the deuteragonist of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. She also plays a supportive role in Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII- and Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. She is Cloud Strife's childhood friend, and a member of AVALANCHE.

Cloud Strife wields large broadswords in battle, including the iconic Buster Sword, and has access to the most powerful weapons in the game. His Limit abilities involve his sword, and are the strongest, but take the longest to learn. Cloud also has the best all-around stats.

Barret Wallace is a playable character in Final Fantasy VII, and a recurring character in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. He leads the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE, trying to prevent Shinra Electric Power Company from using Mako, the planet of Gaia's life source, as a form of energy.

Barret fights passionately for his cause and cares greatly for his allies. His seemingly benevolent cause of fighting for the Planet is a cover for his personal vendetta and anger, which he later must come to terms with. Despite his brash and sometimes violent attitude, Barret has a good heart, and is torn between fighting and caring for his daughter, Marlene.

Barret wields gun-arm, mechanical guns grafted in place of his right arm, allowing him to fire from range. His Limit Break abilities largely consist of physical attacks with these weapons.
