Final Fantasy VII - Crisis Core is the prequel of the original game, it focuses on Zack Fair during his time being a soldier. You will see familiar faces from the original game, especially his best friend Cloud and his love interest Aerith. Yuffie will be there to pester Zack on missions, while you will have Sephiroth as an ally until Nibelheim where you will see Tifa. If you already played the original before playing this, you know this will not have a happy ending... And have the saddest endings from a Final Fantasy Franchise (yeah much sadder than FF-X).

The battle one this game are unique, it have a DMV system that acts like a roulette. Because of that you can't summon or do limit breaks even if you wanted too.
