The Story of the Game:

Remake of Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy VII Remake (a partial remake of Final Fantasy VII) has been upgraded and rereleased as Intergrade. Intergrade, which was announced at Sony Interactive Entertainment's "State of Play" digital livestream on February 25, 2021, is slated to be released on June 10, 2021, only for PlayStation 5 systems. The game has been improved and new bosses have been added, as well as an additional episode centring on Yuffie Kisaragi called FF7R EPISODE INTERmission.

Square Enix developed and released Final Fantasy VII Remake, an action role-playing game. The game is a recreation of the PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII from 1997. Square Enix intends to release the game in episodic episodes, with the first set to hit the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020, with timed exclusivity lasting until April 10, 2021.

Players take control of the mercenary Cloud Strife as he and the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE fight to prevent the corrupt Shinra megacorporation from utilising the planet's life essence as a source of energy. Events lead them to the famous soldier Sephiroth, who seeks the life essence in order to become a demigod. The gameplay blends real-time action with various strategic components, comparable to Dissidia Final Fantasy.

Exploration and fighting mechanics are both real-time, similar to Final Fantasy XV. The game uses an updated version of the original "Active Time Battle" (ATB) system, which gradually fills up or can fill up quicker with strikes. When it is full, the player can pause the action and employ unique skills like magic, items, and special actions. These unique skills can also be assigned to shortcut buttons, allowing the user to play completely in real-time without halting. Each special ability consumes a portion of the ATB bar. At any moment, the player can switch between party members. Each member of the group has unique abilities, such as Cloud's close-quarters melee assaults and Barret's long-range distance attacks. Additionally, players will be able to characters may use magic and summons, and a Limit Break gauge allows them to conduct more powerful attacks once charged. Yoshinori Kitase, the game's producer, indicated that while the game would have more real-time features, there will still be strategic components, such as choosing weapons and spells for each character to use.
