0You must damage him with magic and physical attacks until it reaches page 150 to 200 from damage. Then the book will open up. Once he is open you can ONLY hit him with magic attacks until he closes. If you hit him with a physical attack when open he will close right away. Then repeat doing this until finished. You can steal an Ether, Elixir, Silver Fork, and Demon's Mail that being the most rare and almost impossible without the Thief Gloves but not needed since you can buy the Demon Mail later. So it's up to you! but you do get 30AP and Running Shoes which has very good skills Auto-Haste, Auto-Potion and Haste.
