Final fantasy 9 playthrough with live commentary part 47

This part is entirely about sidequests and I finish up quite a few today!!
Firstly I show off the blackmage synthesis shop....which kicks ass!!!...you can make the most powerequipmwnt in the game...I hope you didn't sell anything!!! though unless I told you so...but the other thing is that it DOES cost quite a bit to make aswell!!
Next I talk to the old man in that library who wants a magical finger to start another sidequest, then go back to treno to fight the last weaponshop monster the behemoth...this thing is tough BUT you can petrify it so equipt the sargaterius for zidane and use soul blade on it!!! for beating it you get a circlet!
Next I get the ribbon in the auction house which costs quite a bit to get and then the magical finger BUT to get it to be show in the auction you need to 4 rare items I told you to get in disc 3 if you didn't get them then do it now at the auction house...they can still be sold there!! TEN you need to actually sell to 4 specific people in treno also if say no the first time for most of them then you can get abetter offer accept for one!

Then just go back to the auction house and the magical finger should be there!!...you can also get the 4 rare items BUT you cna't resell them to the nobles!!
Next is the finishing off the Stellazio Coins sidequest you shoudl already have the last 2 cions and you shoudl get 30,000 gil AND the robe of lords BUT the queen feels that something is wrong...that;s right theres on more coin out there and you need to find it to finish this off...but don't worry it's very easy to find...it's in the same place as the scopio in quans dwelling so go bakc there to get the ophiuchus then yo can retrun them all to the queen to get the final reward the hammer...this item is VERY important so don't sell it...I'll explain when we go to the final area nd are near the end of the game!!
Next I give the magical fingertip back to the old man in Daguerro and in exchange he will give you the excalibur steainer this techs him climhazzard!!
Lastly we get up to 99 frogs with qina in the marsh AND for doing this...you fight an optional boss quale himself...now before you catch the last few frogs make sure your party has protection from poison, confusion, silence, blind AND water magic!!
As for the boss if your prepared then he's easy you can also steal some great equipment but most importantly another robe of lords!!!...you can also drain his mp with magic hammer but once you've stolen everything then just go all out!! and for beating quale you get quina's best weapon in the game the Gastro Fork!
PS:Next time we do the reamining friendly monsters and do some miscellaneous stuff...as well as fight the strongest enemy in the game....and I'm not talking about the super optional boss!!
