...I did it on my first try!!!

But that doesn't mean ozma is easy in fact this boss battle is mostly luck based!!!

Now whatever strategy your going for make sure your teams level isn't a multiple of 5 since he likes to use level 5 death!! and have protection from shadow and holy attacks, lastly make sure you haveatleast clear headed, antibody, auto life and auto regen on your team!!

The strategy I used is the same as hcbailys LIKE I SAID this is what i did during the battle there are a ton of ways you can do this fight!!!

Party members:

zidane:...I have him mostly spam thievery!

dagger: for healing and summoning bahamut...his long animation gives the team a chance to heal with auto regen!..also have 99 garents AND boost to increase bahamuts attack power

Amarant: He's a spare healer and he can attack with throw, also equip the retrun magic ability so that you can use the same spell back to ozma!!

Vivi:Pretty much the attacker here and also here to counter with magic so have him with return magic!

Now there is one very important this here that will make this battle...a little easier.. DO THR FRIENDLY MONSTER SIDEQUEST!!!...you see not only do you get to hit ozma with physical attacks BUT it also makes him weak to shadow based attacks and he likes to use doomday which does shadow damage to everyone including ozma!!

Also make sure you have some greens which you can buy from mene they cure the berserk status affect and that's bad he he ses it on your healer!!, also some remedies because of one attack.....CURSE it's the worst attack he can do it does damage to the whole party and gives you a string of status affaects...including confusion and poison...along with blind, slow and mini!!!....so yeah make sure you have attack that won't be affected by mini....so make sure you use aremedy on amarant! so that his throw does more damage!

You an steal some good things from it...but it's not worth it however heres what you can steal if your interested, Elixir, Robe of Lords, Dark Matter, Pumice Piece

Now as for the battle...anything can happen he can start by casting meteor,or go striaght to curse...like I said RANDOM!!!...he can also cast a bunch of spells in a row AND he can use curaga on himself...but he only seems to do this whens he's low on HP!!......and one more thing you might be thinking to change your battle more to wait instead of active....that won't work...somehow ozma is IMMUNE to that he will keep taking turns either way....you need to work fast and not take too long!!

Heres are all of ozma's attacks:

Lv5 Death: Inflicts Instant Death on all party members whose levels are a multiple of 5. Ozma will only use Lv5 Death if the party has a member susceptible to it; if no party member is of a suitable level, Ozma will not waste its turn.

Death: Inflicts instant death on one party member if it hits.

Lv4 Holy: Deals Holy damage to all party members whose levels are a multiple of 4. Ozma will only use Lv4 Holy if the party has a member susceptible to it.

Holy: Deals Holy damage to one target. Ozma will not use the ability if the target absorbs it.

Flare: Deals non-elemental damage to one target.

Flare Star: Deals damage based on the characters' level. Can miss.

Doomsday: Deals Shadow damage to all targets, including Ozma.

Meteor: Deals random damage to the entire party, with the possibility of dealing 9999 to all of them.

Curse: Deals non-elemental damage to all party members and inflicts Confuse, Poison, Slow, Mini, and Darkness.

Mini: Inflicts Mini status on all targets.

Esuna: Used if Ozma is afflicted with a status ailment.

MP Absorb: Used if Ozma is low on MP. Drains MP from the party.
Berserk: Used to counter attacks.

Curaga: Used as a counterattack; there is a higher chance of countering with Curaga when Ozma's health is low.

.....As for equipment I alreadty showed you what i got...but to be honest as long as you have protection from shadow and holy damage the choise is yours!

HOWEVER...not everything went to plan vivi and daggers magic attacks didn't do much damage.....so yeah i'm not sure what happened there!!

But for beating him you get the pumice which teaches dagger her final summon the ark...and you also get a key tiem from mene and the ozma card!!

This guy WILL take a LOT of tries the fact that I beat him on my first try means that LUCK was on my side!!....it's the resason why some people can beat him at level one or with just one character!!

PS: Next time we head for the final area....but it's quite long so I won't be doing it in one part!!
