This is it. It's time to face off with Chaos, who has been causing the cycle of evil. Chaos will be in fact one of the toughest bosses you will fight in this game, as he has an onslaught of AOE elemental attacks that can cause heavy damage to your party. Unfortunately, he is not weak against anything, so do what you can to beef up your party to their fullest extent. Make sure you have a lot of healing resources, as he has a habit of spamming his AOE attacks. Also make sure that you have your party members MP as high as possible before this battle to not run into any unexpected trouble with MP. Have Life/Full-Life/Pheonix Downs at the ready, in the case of any of your party members getting killed. Just keep your party members healthy and buffed up, and hit him with your best attacks. There is one important thing to note: There is a chance that Chaos will heal himself. If he does this, you'll just have to keep hacking away at him. Play it smart and victory should be yours.
