OMFG, WHY DID I THINK THAT TAKING ON OMEGA FIRST WAS A GOOD IDEA!?...
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the hardest boss in Final Fantasy I Dawn of Souls: Omega.
No matter what level you are at this point in the game, this boss WILL give you a tough time. He is the only boss in Final Fantasy I Dawn of Souls that is super resistant to physical attacks. Remember those potential 1k+ damage physical attacks that you may have did for other bosses at late in the game after you beefed up your party members? You most likely won't be doing those here. Matter of fact, you'll probably barely have time to beef up your party members here, depending on what you do. I do recommend beefing up party members here if you can, but you may be better off otherwise. He has the potential to do 600+ damage to a single party member, even with Protect active: and that's just his normal attack. It does get worse: He has an attack called Wave Cannon that can do up to 350+ damage to all party members! Also, have you been saving up those Elixers/Megalixers up until now? Now may be the time to make use of them, since you will likely run out of MP for your White Mage during this battle spamming Healaga. The most damage you most likely will be able to do on this boss is from Thundaga. Otherwise, Flare can work too, in which if you have that Judgment Staff (which you should if you made it this far), now would be a good time to make use of that. There is a bit of hope from this boss though: he also has the ability to use Earthquake, which that attack would only be threatening to a underleveled party, otherwise it's a "do nothing" from Omega. I am not even sure this boss is even beatable without the use of a White Mage at all. This boss here practically demands that you have a White Mage in your party, otherwise good luck.
I will show as much content as possible of the game, but this is not a speed run nor a perfect run. Hope you will enjoy this Playthrough/Walkthrough/Let's Play/Gameplay.
