Final Fantasy II full walkthrough for Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). This is English translated version of the game. Original game was never released in English but later remakes had English release.

This walkthrough was recorded with same conditions as playing on a real console.

NES version has some differences compared to PS1 / GBA remakes. These include:
- Dual weapon setups don't gain XP for the second weapon. Thus it forces weapon-shield setup.
- Characters don't gain XP if affected by any condition even as minor as blind.
- Some naming and spelling differences.

Initially I wasn't aware of these differences therefore my setup wasn't as efficient during the first part of the game. However this game uses its own unique level up system which makes up for any loss in exp and allows quick and easy conversion between various weapon types.

In general stats level up independent of one another. It usually happens with tough enemy encounters, but it can be exploited by buffing weak enemies or by forcing characters to attack each other. Some parts of this walkthrough use these tactics to gain levels when necessary.
