This is my first time playing Final Fantasy II. I've seen bits and pieces of this game over the years but never played it myself. I had a great experience playing through the first game and hoping that trend continues with this one!
Post stream notes: I tested whether or not attack multiple times with one character in a battle gives more xp, since last time I noticed that if a character attacked 3-4 times in one battle they actually got xp, whereas if there are only 1-3 enemies nobody got anything. Turns out that the number of times you attack in a battle with one character sort of multiplies the xp you get. It slowed down with each level which makes sense but it's a little awkward how it works. Also, if you're going to level up a skill soon, it cuts off the xp as soon as you hit the level threshold, so I was trying to play around that limit and level up magic afterward. Still a lot to learn but I'm glad I figured out this stuff now.
