11Recap: Riding the newly hatched Wind Drake into the cyclone, the party climbs to the top of the floating castle and finally gets a real confrontation with the emperor. Surprisingly unprepared, he ends up dying in the battle, and Fynn declares that the war is over. However, before the celebration can go on for long, the dark knight proclaims himself to be the new emperor in Palamecia.
The party finds their way to Palamecia on the late Cid's airship, and confronts Leon at the top of it. He moves to start a fight, but before it can happen, the emperor returns from the dead, in a new twisted form, and is unhappy with someone else sitting on his throne. Gareth tells the other four to escape on his Wind Drake while he faces the emperor alone. As they fly away, they see castle Palamecia collapsing, and castle Pandaemonium rising up to take its place.
