3Return to the Town of Baron and go to the bar section of the inn to meet Yang there. Yang has been brainwashed due to amnesia since being separated from your party and will call in a duet of Baron Guards to take you on. If you attack a guard with physical attacks, it will respond by casting a spell that turns one of your fighters tiny, reducing its attack and defense. If you attack a guard with a spell, it will respond with a spell that turns one of your fighters into a pig. Being a pig prevents its victim from casting most spells, and it cannot use certain commands. Defeat both guards and Yang will challenge you. Yang will unleash jump kicks that strike all of your fighters at once. After doing enough damage to Yang, he will confess that the Leviathan knocked Yang out, affecting his memory. In addition, Rydia was swallowed by the Leviathan, and Edward’s whereabouts remain unknown. Yang will rejoin your party soon afterwards. As you get some rest at the inn, you’ll receive a key that unlocks doors that are locked in the region of Baron.
