This video shows you how to get Adamant Armor in Final Fantasy IV (also known as Final Fantasy II in USA and Europe). First you have to locate one specific room in Lunar's Lair which has ridiculously small chance of spawning Pink Puffs. Even if you're patient enough to encounter Pink Puffs you still have to get a lucky random drop with Pink Tail item otherwise you'll have to wait hours for another Pink Puff random encounter. After you get a Pink Tail you have to visit Grotto Adamant and exchange your Pink Tail for Adamant Armor.

It seems you may get as many Adamant Armor items as you wish. Though to be honest its not worth even for one piece. It must be incredibly frustrating getting this on a real hardware.

This trick works with most remakes of Final Fantasy IV for other platforms.
