Story recap: With the Falcon modified to fly over magma, the party takes a detour to visit the more remote dwarven settlements of the underworld. A smith's forge has gone cold, waiting for the legendary adamantite. In the backwater town of Tomra, rumors of caves full of sylphs and otherworldly monsters abound. Inside the sylph cave, they find an unconscious Yang, being cared for by the faeries of the underworld. Unable to bring news of his condition to Fabul in the overworld, they move on to the Eidolon passage, which leads to the Feymarch, Rydia's underworld home of summoned monsters. The king and queen of the Feymarch agree to lend their powers to Rydia after testing the party's strength, as is Eidolon tradition.
