This is video #065 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years for the PC. This is episode 9 of Edward's Tale: Star-Crossed Damcyan.

We are currently grinding in previous tales in preparation for The Crystals. Previously, Edward and Harley continued leveling in Edward's Tale. Edward and Harley are at Level 35. The three Guards are at Level 20. Now, they will work on getting a Gold Tail before they wrap up their grinding. They will also get a Bronze Tail they missed in Damcyan Castle.

Overworld:

The party resumes outside the town of Baron. They head to the Port of Baron just east of town.

Port of Baron (time 0:24):

They sail to the Kaipo Docks.

Kaipo Docks (time 0:30):

They exit to the Overworld.

Overworld (time 0:50):

They enter the Underground Waterway north of Kaipo.

Underground Waterway (time 2:16):

The party goes directly through the southeast section of the Underground Waterway. When they reach the Waterway Entrance - North, they exit to the Overworld.

Overworld (time 6:43):

The party enters the northwest section of the waterway.

Underground Waterway (time 6:49):

The party goes directly through the northwest section of the dungeon. From the Underground Lake - B1, they exit to the Overworld.

Overworld (time 9:17):

They enter Damcyan Castle.

Damcyan Castle (time 9:23):

The party takes the northeast stairway on 1F to find the Storehouse. In the Storehouse, they find a secret passage along the southern wall just east of the stairway. In the wall just east of the treasure chests, they find a hidden container with a Bronze Tail. Yay!

Before leaving the castle, they pick up Potions at the sundries shop on 1F.

Overworld (time 10:33):

The party reenters the Underground Waterway just south of Damcyan Castle.

Underground Waterway (time 10:41):

The Underground Lake - B1 is a decent place to hunt for Bronze or Silver Tails. Most of the fish and alligators drop them. Bronze Tails are fairly common, but Silver Tails are much rarer.

Fortunately, after just a couple of battles, the party scores a Silver Tail! Yay! They now have five Silver Tails, which is all they need. So, they backtrack through this section of the waterway.

From the Underground Falls, they exit to the Overworld.

Overworld (time 14:39):

They enter the southeast section of the Underground Waterway.

Underground Waterway (time 14:45):

The party backtracks through the rest of the dungeon.

While they are in the Waterway Entrance - North, Edward reaches Level 36.

In the Waterway Entrance - South, the party visits the Tail Collector (time 18:51). They trade him five Silver Tails and get a Gold Tail in exchange. Lovely!

Then, they exit the waterway.

Overworld (time 19:22):

The party goes to the Kaipo Docks.

Kaipo Docks (time 19:34):

They set sail for Baron.

Port of Baron (time 19:39):

They exit the port.

Overworld (time 19:59):

Edward and Harley continue grinding in the Baron region.

Harley reaches Level 36.

Edward reaches Level 37.

Harley reaches Level 37.

Edward reaches Level 38.

The party returns to the town of Baron.

Baron (time 56:02):

They get some rest and then leave town.

Overworld (time 57:14):

The party saves. Next time, we will start leveling the party in Kain's Tale.
