It's time for a new playthrough. It only seemed right to return to Final Fantasy''s golden era once again. FFIX is well regarded as one of the best. It was a love letter to the first few games, with its battle system owing a lot to FFIV, and easter eggs and references to series' past dotted all throughout the game. I will do my best to show this its due greatness, in my own little way.

*Zidane/Garnet/Vivi/Amarant Party: Selected via RNG before playthrough. Mostly a casual run. No superbosses/extra sidequesting, unless it's nothing out of the way*

Also, I'm checking episodes as I record them to check for audio levels or capture card issues. Anything like that should be resolved in an episode or two. I noticed my new capture card (HD60X) isn't compatible with my recording software, but works better for streaming. I switched to a previous capture card (HD60S) for Yakuza recordings, and resolved issues like "audio delay while recording" I talk about here. If anyone's curious, it's only during recording, not with actual playback. Still, I try my best to resolve those issues (and those of audio being drowned out by battle/loud music) as I record videos.
