Trying out a new Elgato capture card (The HD60X). I have some foibles with it. If I'm on camera, I can't plug it in with the Camlink. Probably something to do with my surge protector/splitter being a 2.0, while the card is a 3.0 plug. It also has some audio desync. I think it only shows up while playing through the capture software though. I will be curious to see how it performs on actual video. It seems to run better for Twitch purposes. It may not be the best for Youtube recordings. But hey, hence the testing.

I always say never get rid of any tech. Old capture cards, cameras, microphones, etc. You never know when technology wants to play like a jerk. It's also entirely possible that despite capturing in 1080p, Youtube may only let me view it in 720p. I'll know it when I see it.
