Final Fantasy 9 has some of my favorite melodies ever! This song in particular already sounds absolutely celtic by itself. I kept that just like the original, using my vocals instead of the recorders. There's also some medieval lutes and a theorbo from that period to reinforce this, as well as my beloved tambourine. But then... let the dark folk begin! I used my live tagelharpa skills to add a unique sound and some horns, plus sampled overtone singing and some of my own growls to add texture later on. Love the result and how it fits this music!
