If you you finished Chocobo Hot and Cold until this point of the game, you're are very well
against Ark. Garnet and Freya were the best choice since both obtained their Ultimate Weapon, Tiger Racket and Dragon Hair respectively. Garnet defense is so high that any attacks of Ark have absolute no effect on her making this battle impossible to lose if you have equipped Auto-Potion before. Boomerang is the only attack that can kill Freya. I think it happened two times and not more. With these settings the battle went very well.
