Strap yourself in,it's time to take on an optional boss before going on. BOSS FIGHT: Tantarian. A large book in the library that challenges you to a fight. It's advised to have everyone in the back row to reduce paper storm damage,as it's whole party damage. It will use that and Doom while hiding in it's book. I soon found out Zidane's Thievery attack will always do constant damage if you've been leveling it through stealing. So as long as it always does above 250 damage,you can always maike the guy pop out. When his true self is revealed,only use skills and magic,otherwise he retreats back into his book. He can only cast Poison while exposed,so have Antibody on for this fight. Have Vivi mainly attack when he's out with Bio,and steal with Zidane,he has some good stuff. Keep it up and he'll eventually go down. Your reward for taking this bastard down is Running Shoes,which teach Auto Haste!
